C T Ravi reacts to ‘daridhra’ govt remark says Siddaramaiah is root cause of wretchedness

Chikkamagaluru: Reacting to Siddaramaiah’s remark that BS Yediyurappa’s government is a ‘daridhra’ (wretched) government, Minister of Kannada and Culture CT Ravi on Sunday said that the former chief minister is the root cause of wretchedness in the state.

Siddaramaiah is responsible for the common man’s tears, he told reporters on the sidelines of the Ardhamandalotsava organized by Hariharpura Prabodhini Gurukula in Koppa taluk.

He further said that during the election, Siddaramaiah had sanctioned 11 lakh houses, but without assigning any funds for it and in the election year alone 2-3 lakh houses were sanctioned.

Reacting to DK Shivkumar’s statement on RSS route march in Ramnagara, Ravi said “DKS has many times introduced himself as an RSS volunteer. He has even said that he recites the RSS prayer while asking me if I recite it too.”
