Chikmaglur: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa could not visit Delhi as party leaders were busy with the affairs of the Bihar elections. The chief minister will be visiting the capital after the Deepavali festival and meet the party leadership there, BJP General Secretary CT Ravi said.

Ravi was speaking to reporters after arriving at Devirammana hill here.

“It is CM Yediyurappa’s decision to appoint a minister for Chikmaglur district, I cannot comment or state anything on that,” Ravi added.

“The party has made me in-charge of Maharashtra, Goa and Tamil Nadu. I will strengthen the responsibilities the party has assigned to me. After 500 years Ayodya is seeing the celebration of Deepavali. Great work has been done CM Yogi Adityanath in Uttar Pradesh. This is a good sign,” Ravi said.
