Call helpline if sick: DK DC to foreign arrivals

Mangaluru: Sindhu B Rupesh, the deputy commissioner of Dakshina Kannada district on Wednesday, March 11 announced in a release that all those who have arrived from abroad and have a fever, cold or breathing difficulties can contact the helpline set up for this purpose.
The health helpline 104 and 1077 have been set up to deal with any queries or help regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
She also stated that no positive cases of the virus have been found in the district.
Since February 1 more than 25,000 people have been screened for the virus at the city’s airport and more than 5,000 have been screened at the city’s port for COVID-19.
