Cash, gold worth lakhs stolen at Mulki

Mulki: A house was robbed by miscreants at Karnad near here on Thursday.

It has been reported that cash of Rs.44, 000 and gold worth lakhs was stolen fron the house of MA Khader here.

MA Khader, and his family were out when the incident took place on Thursday and they came to know about the theft only when they returned home in the evening of Friday.

Apparently the thieves entered the house by breaking open the wooden window situation at the back side of the house. Locks of two cupboards were broken and cash worth Rs 44000 including two Rado watches and gold was robbed.

Mulki police visited the spot and registered a case in this connection.
