CCB Police arrest youth wanted in 17 cases

Mangaluru: The Central Crime Branch Police arrested a youth involved in around 17 cases.
It has been reported that, Mohammad Mansoor (38) from Adyapady was arrested by the CCB police. He was allegedly involved in the theft of two cows from a house in Moodu Maarnadu village near Moodbidri on March 13.
After the theft, Mansoor was followed by the villagers in a car. He and his friends allegedly broke the headlights of the car and fed away with the cows in their vehicle.
The release also mentioned that, apart from the cattle theft at Moodbidri. He was also involved in three more cases of cattle theft in Bajpe and Surathkal and in Udupi.
The police said that he was also accused in a case of dacoity registered in Huliya Police Station of Tumkur district, two criminal cases in Somwarpet police station in Kodagu district and two criminal cases in Kushalnagar police station limits of Madikeri district.
