CCB raids Hookah parlours in Bluru

Bengaluru: Central Crime Branch (CCB) officials raided unathorised hookah parlours at various loacations in the city at Orion Mall, 18+s Cafe in Banaswadi, Arabesque Cafe and Entropy cafe in Koramangala, 1-Ultra Lounge in Subramanyapura and Canopy Flavour in HSR Layout.
Officials arrested nine persons which includes owners and managers of illegal hookah parlours.
The CCB officials seized Rs 74,000 cash and hookah pots during the raid.
One gambling centre was also seized at RG Royal Hotel in Mahalakshmi Layout, apprehending as many as 47 people and seizing Rs 9.33 lakh. The officials seized Rs 3.5 crore worth of tokens, liquor bottles and fake ID cards.
The players were from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
