Bengaluru: The woman in the sex video with MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi has informed the Karnataka High Court that she does not want to return to her parents now and will remain in the city till the end of the case proceedings.
The woman appeared before the division bench of Justices Krishna S Dixit and Pradeep Singh Herur of the High Court’s Dharwad Bench.
The court was hearing a petition filed by the woman’s father on May 27.
The justices instructed the Registrar General of the High Court to submit a report on the woman’s status.
They also directed the Special Investigation Team (SIT) to find out whether the letter written to the Registrar General on May 19 was from the same person who had sent a letter earlier.
