Chaos at Majestic Metro Station

Bengaluru: Choas was experienced when metro trains services were reduced at Kempegowda Majestic Metro Station on Friday morning.

Passengers travelling from Majestic to Baiyappanahalli were badly affected due to this.

Metro station was crowded as passengers were stranded . Platforms were fully occupied and passengers were seen standing on staircases.

An official said that during the peak hours, the BMRCL usually operates trains with a frequency 3.5 minutes but it changed schedule on Friday citing that it is a holiday and operated trains with five minutes frequency.

However, passengers alleged that trains were operated with seven to eights minutes of gap.
