Madikeri: Around the same time that Kumaraswamy won the vote of trust in the Assembly, Janata Dal (S) District President Sanketh Poovaiah communicated his certainty that HDK would give successful answers for the issues looked by Kodagu district and the state.

Tending to a press meet here Sanketh stated, “We will welcome Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy to the region within two months. We will set up an appropriate activity intend to determine different issues in the region.”

He included that the Congress-JD(S) coalition government would react to the grievance of the area regardless of the JD(S) having no MLAs in Kodagu.

“We will hold a ‘Gramavastavya’ program in Kodagu when HDK visits Kodagu to determine the problems of the people”, he guaranteed.

He likewise drilled down some exceptional issues in the district including waiving off coffee growers’ loan and loan interest of Strishakthi self-help groups, settling the man-animal strife and offering help to farmers. “We will work for the overall improvement of the district”, Sanketh Poovaiah said.
