Chikkaballapur: Police fire at murder accused in self defence

Chikkaballapur: Police officials fire at murder accused’s leg after he attacked the officials in Gauribidanur Taluk, Chikkaballapur.

Five men were arrested by police officials for murdering Rowdy sheeter, Ramesh on Thursday, July 23 in Gauribidanur Taluk, Chikkaballapur.

While one of the accused Amabarish was taken for spot visit by police officials he tried to attack them and one of the police officials fired in self defence. PSI Mohan tried to warn the accused and asked him to stop attacking them but as he did not listen, he fired in the air and later on his leg.

The five accused include Venkata Reddy, Arjun, Naresh, Ambarish and several others.
