Chikkamagaluru: 2 Britain returnees test positive for COVID-19

Chikkamagaluru: Deputy Commissioner of the district Dr Bagadi Gautam informed on December 25 that COVID-19 infection has been detected in two people who had recently arrived in the district from Britain.

“A week ago, 17 people had arrived in the district from England. We had collected their samples and sent for testing. The test reports arrived on Friday, and two of the 17 were found to COVID-19 positive,” the DC said.

“The patients have been admitted to the city’s COVID-19 Hospital,” Dr Gautam added.
