Chikkamagaluru: Woman assaults doctor at District Hospital, OPD shut in protest

In a shocking incident, a woman allegedly assaulted a doctor with her footwear at the Malleshgowda District Hospital, triggering a protest by hospital staff.

The altercation occurred when the woman reportedly grabbed orthopedic specialist Dr. Venkatesh by his shirt and assaulted him after he allegedly insulted her with abusive language during the treatment of her brother. The hospital staff condemned the attack on the doctor.

The OPD was shut down in protest as hospital staff demanded justice for the assaulted doctor, creating a tense atmosphere at the hospital for some time.
