Chitradurga: 3 killed, 3 injured in lorry-car collision

Chitradurga: Three people were killed while three others were seriously injured after a collision between a lorry and a car on Saturday near Chikkabennur village of Chitradurga taluk.

The mishap reportedly occurred after a sudden tyre burst on the lorry, which was traveling from Chitradurga to Davanagere. The car coming from behind rammed into the lorry resulting in the death of three people on the spot and injuring three other occupants of the car. The injured were admitted to the hospital.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.

Bharamasagara police visited the spot and registered a case.
