Clues gathered on Ilyas murder: Police

Surathkal: Police Commissioner TR Suresh said that the police have got sufficient clues into the killings of Ilyas.

Addressing the media here Suresh said that the Police are on a lookout for the assaulters who killed him at his home today.

Police revealed that as per the complaints lodged by Ilyas wife, she was not at home and her mother had kept the door open when the miscreants rang the bell.

Ilyas was out on bail since a few days.

He was stabbed this morning at his residence.

Police believe that gang war between two criminal gangs led to the murder of Ilyas.

A gang war between two gangs is suspected to be the motive behind the murder.
