Mandya: Disregarding getting ticket, actor and Congress leader Ambareesh is by all accounts hesitant to challenge the elections from Mandya.

This has ended up being an immense headache for the Congress. His close associate  Amaravati Chandrashekhar had a long discussion on the issue with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday.

In the interim, CM Siddaramaiah will be on Mysuru visit on Sunday (today) and he is scheduled to meet the former minister and clear picture is relied upon to develop soon.

It’s realized that Ambareesh was baffled when Siddaramaiah dropped him from the bureau thinking health problems, even without informing him.

There were bits of gossip that Ambareesh may bounce to JDS, however there are no such improvements, Amaravati Chandrashekhar said. In the event that Ambareesh won’t compete, former MLA H B Ramu may challenge from the constituency, it is said.

Former minister Athmananda too is said to be caught up with campaigning for the Congress ticket from Mandya.
