CM Yediyurappa holds video conference with district officials

Bengaluru: Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa on Saturday, May 2, held a video conference with a few Deputy Commissioner and elected representatives on COVID-19 lockdown in the State.
The conference was held with representatives and officials of Vijayapura, Belgaum, Bagalkot, Mysore, Dakshina Kannada, Bangalore City, Bangalore Rural and Kalaburagi districts.
In the conference, it was decided that food grains will be distributed to the public from the hostels under the Social Welfare Department.
A one-way fare will be charged by KSRTC to the migrant workers wanting to return to their home districts. Additionally, a one-time use inter-district travel pass will also be issued to those wanting to return to their hometowns from cities in the State.
It has also been decided to convene a separate conference to discuss the problems of weavers.
