CM’s gold medal for 4 police officers from DK & Udupi

Udupi / Mangaluru: Four police officials from the coastal districts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi have been awarded the CM’s medal for 2022. Naveenchandra Jogi and Rajendra Nayak from Udupi, and Santhosh Kumar K and Manikanta from Dakshina Kannada are the recipients of the award.

Naveenchandra Jogi, who worked as a circle inspector in Sullia for the past three years and previously served as an Intelligence Inspector, has been transferred to Chikkamagaluru ahead of the upcoming Assembly polls. He is from Udupi-Kaup and has cracked several cases during his service.

Rajendra Nayak M N, the second recipient from Udupi district, is originally from Shivamogga and currently serves as a sub-inspector in the Coastal Security police station of Hejamady. He joined the police force 12 years ago and moved to Hejamady six months ago from Hosanagara.

Among the two recipients from Dakshina Kannada, Santhosh Kumar K works as a sub-inspector at Mangaluru South traffic station, while Manikanta works as a head constable in the DCP Traffic office of Mangaluru.

Santhosh Kumar has been in the police force since 1993 and has worked in various locations, winning several medals during his service in DCIB.

Manikanta joined the police force in 2000 and has served in various locations, including Puttur rural, Mangaluru port, Pandeshwar, Urwa, Barke, and Western Traffic police stations.
