College student dies allegedly of brain haemorrhage

Mangaluru: In a shocking incident, an 18-year old girl collapsed to death in her college hostel on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Apoorva.

It has been reported that, Apoorva was neat her hostel when she suddenly fell on the floor.

Even though the college authorities rushed her to a private hospital the doctors declared her dead.

Doctors suspect the cause to be of brain haemorrhage.

Apoorva is the granddaughter of renowned Yakshagana Arthadhari  and scholar Perla Krishna Bhat. She is survived by her father Rajaram Bhat who is the owner of Gurukula Mudranalaya of Perla, mother Radhika and a sister.
