Mangaluru: City Police Commissioner Dr PS Harsha has issued a notice to former state Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in connection with his visit to Mangaluru today (December 21).
Stating that Siddaramaiah’s entry in the city may lead to deterioration of the law and order situation in the city, Dr Harsha has barred the Congress leader from visiting Mangaluru till December 22.
In the backdrop of this development, Siddaramaiah is expected to visit the city on Sunday.
Earlier on Friday, Siddaramaiah had to cancel his trip to Mangaluru on getting information that the chartered aircraft he was to take was denied permission to land at the airport.
