Congress Leader DK Shivakumar Gets Relief from Apex Court in Land Denotification Case

New Delhi/Bengaluru: In a big relief to Karnataka Sate BJP president BS Yeddyurappa, Congress leader DK Shivakumar on Friday, Supreme Court has dismissed a petition filed against them inconnection with a land denotification case in Bengaluru.
Complainant, TJ Abraham registered a private complaint before the Apex Court and urged Lokayukta probe into 4.2 acre land denotification case at Benniganahalli in the state capital. The land was denotified in the year 2010 and later TJ Abraham moved legally for a Lokayukta probe on the denotification stating it as illegal.
Earlier, Karnataka high court rejected the same plea by TJ Abraham for a Lokayukta probe into land denotification case. Following the verdict from high court, the complainant filed an appeal before Supreme Court against the duo.
