Congress leader lashes out at BJP

Mangaluru: Congress party member, A C Vinayraj said that the upcoming elections will be a fight between development and misrepresentation.

Addressing media persons here, Vinayaraj said, “Due to BJP’s misrepresentation and negligence, people from the state support the Congress party and its representatives. People have chosen Congress to power in the last 2013 Assembly elections and brought it back to power in the state.

“Congress has proved its good administration without any corruption,” he said.

BJP members have been distributing handbills to people, which is against the policies laid by Election Commission’s (EC) model code of conduct, this will be highlighted the EC,” he added.

Regarding Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat remarks against minister U T Khader, Vinayaraj said, “Khader is a good leader. Bhat has several cases against him and is on bai,”

We are confident on Congress rule in the district, we will win all eight constituencies this time, he said.
