Congress Party High Command Signals Green for Karnataka State Cabinet Reshuffle

Bengaluru: Congress party high command signaled green for Karnataka state cabinet reshuffle here on Saturday in a meeting with Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President G Parameshwara in the national capital. Congress Party President Sonia Gandhi and Vice President Rahul Gandhi have also asked the chief minister to fill two vacant cabinet berths and three seats in assembly council.
The party leadership has congratulated the state unit for winning the by-polls with huge margin held for Nanjangud and Gundlupet seats recently. The party leadership in the centre also asked to prepare a list of eligible candidates for next assembly elections scheduled to be held in 2018.
