Congressman Revanna Siddaiah quits party supports JD(S), BJP

Mysuru: Revanna Siddaiah, former IPS officer and local Congressman quit the party and set the phase to battle against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah by supporting the JDS.
Revanna Siddaiah, who resigned from the party on Sunday, reported his choice in a press meet. He said that he would support G T Devegowda in Chamundeshwari and will support BJP candidate in Varuna. “I don’t contradict the Congress as a party, yet CM Siddaramaiah is my rival. He treated me like a pet dog. Now, he has come to throw biscuits again during the election,” he said in a dissatisfaction.
A couple of days back, BS Yeddyurappa’s son B Y Vijayendra had met Revanna Siddaiah and asked for his help to the BJP. Not long after that Dr. Yathindra, son of CM Siddaramaiah met Revanna Siddaiah at his residence and talked about for over one hour and Yathindra had asked for the former cop to remain in the party.
Lingayat people group leader Revanna Siddaiah has his own fan following in Chamundeshwari and in Varuna constituency.
