Covid-19: 51-year-old from Boloor tests positive, state tally rises to 659

Bengaluru/Mangaluru: One positive case was reported in Boloor of Dakshina Kannada and seven other cases were reported in other districts of the state on Tuesday, May 5 taking the tally of infected persons to 659 in Karnataka.

Among the new cases, one each case was reported from Dakshina Kannada, Bellary, and Uttara Kannada. Two cases were reported from Bagalkote and Three cases from Bengaluru.

A  51-year-old man from Boloor is said to have contracted the infection from P-536.

Till date 659 cases have been reported including 324 discharge and 28 deaths.
