Covid-19: Belthangady MLA launches app to track home-quarantined people

Belthangady: Following the Covid-19 outbreak, many people have been home quarantined and in order to track them on a real-time basis an app has been launched and being used in the Taluk.
Belthangady MLA Harish Poonja has launched the app and said that the app will keep a track of 220 people who are home quarantined in the Taluk.
A Mangaluru based IoT service company has developed this application “I-Search” which enables medical Staffs, ASHA workers and police to track the home quarantined people.
This app captures geographic location of user based on the mobile user’s data. if the data connection is slow, the data recorded will be uploaded to the server once the user reach network coverage area.
