Covid 19 cases breach 100 mark in Dakshina Kannada

Mangaluru: The coronavirus cases in Dakshina Kannada breached the 100-mark with 24 new cases being reported on Thursday, May 28.
Maharashtra returnees accounted for 23 of the new cases while the remaining one was from Kerala. Till date, there are 105 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the district.
Out of the 105 positive cases, 97 are from Dakshina Kannada and eight patients are from other districts. Seven persons have died, including one due to non-covid 19 reason in the district so far.
So far 39 people have recovered from the infection. The district presently has 59 active cases.
