COVID-19 lockdown extention: KSRTC cancels bookings, initiates refunds

Bengaluru: As ongoing COVID-19 lockdown has been extended, the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) on Sunday canceled all bookings and initiated a refund process.
“All tickets have been canceled and refund process has been initiated. Till further orders, we are not taking further bookings,” KSRTC PRO Latha TS was quoted speaking to ANI.
11 new cases of COVId-19 were reported in the state on Sunday, Taking the total number of cases to 226.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the tally of the country’s novel coronavirus cases increased to 8356 on Sunday. Of these, 716 have been cured and discharged, and 273 have succumbed to the virus.
