Davangere: BJP MLA and Chief Minister’s political secretary M.P. Renukacharya on Friday said that a criminal case must be filed against Congress MLA Zameer Ahmed for threatening Bangalore South MP Tejasvi Surya

Speaking to the reporters, Renukacharya said, ” It is not right to threaten and insult Tejasvi Surya who has unearthed ‘Bribe for Bed scam’ in Bengaluru. What is wrong in reading out the names of those involved in the scam. BJP and Tejasvi Surya are not against the minorities”

He further said, ” All have seen how Zameer Ahmed behaved during the first wave of Covid-19. He was busy supporting  Covid-19  rule violators and even welcomed them with flowers when they were released from jail. It is high time that he changes his behavior or else strict action will be taken against him”

Also, reacting to DK Shivakumar’s demand for resignation of BS Yediyurappa, he said, ”  Why should BS Yediyurappa resign? Despite being tested positive for Covid-19 twice, he is doing everything possible to help people amid the pandemic”
