Customs officials seize gold worth Rs 9.65 lakh

Mangaluru: Customs officers deployed at Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) seized gold weighing 252.98 grams valued at Rs 9.65 lakh on Monday, November 4.

The gold was seized from the possession of a passenger who arrived in the city from Dubai on Air India flight IX814.

The gold was concealed in plate form inside toys, informed sources.
