Dakshina Kannada lockdown: DC issues guidelines

Mangaluru: Deputy Commissioner Sindhu B Rupesh on Tuesday, July 14 issued guidelines for the week-long lockdown in the district.
The Dakshina Kannada district administration has decided to impose a lockdown in the district from 8 pm on July 15 to 5 am on July 23.
Shops selling essentials including milk, groceries, meat, and vegetables, would be permitted to open from 8 am to 11 am in the city and outskirts during the lockdown.
All bars, malls, wine shops, commercial establishments, private offices and companies will have to be completely shutdown.
Containment zones will be completely sealed.
All public and private transportation will be prohibited except for freight vehicles.
