Davangere: Suspected case of MIS-C reported

Davangere: A suspected case of Multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) was reported from the district here.
District’s Health Department officials said that the child with the suspected health condition is being treated at the SS Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre’s hospital.
Physicians have not yet diagnosed the child with the disease. Deputy Commissioner Mahantesh Bilagi has informed the same to Women & Child Development Minister Shashikala Jolle.
MIS-C is a health condition where children, who are infected with COVID-19, have inflammation in the tissues of their heart, lungs, blood vessels, kidneys, digestive system, brain, skin or eyes.
