Kadaba: Two home guards carrying out election duty at a polling booth here fell ill after having consumed breakfast containing a dead lizard on Thursday April 18th. The affected guards are identified as Jayaprakash Gowda and Rajendra from Aivarnadu and Bellare respectively.
Breakfast had been arranged for them from a nearby hotel, but the duo had already consumed food from somewhere else, inform the locals.
However, the ordered breakfast which was consumed by other officials on duty remained unaffected.
