Delhi-bound AI flight develops technical snag at B’luru airport. take-off delayed by 5 hours

Bengaluru: A Delhi-bound Air India flight, with 242 passengers on board was delayed by about 5 hours after it developed a technical snag in its wheels only minutes before take-off at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA).
The Air India flight AI 505 was scheduled to take off at 10.25 am on Saturday. However, the pilots discovered the technical snag in the wheels of the aircraft just minutes before the take-off, averting a possible tragedy.
According to Air India sources, the passengers were deplaned safely and were taken to the waiting area, provided with refreshments, and explained about the issue.
The flight finally took off at 3.46 pm, after a delay of 5 hours and 28 minutes and landed in Delhi at 6.33 pm.
