Delhi Violence: Police unable to control situation, Army should be called in, says CM

New Delhi: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday, February 26 said that the police were not in a position to control the violent clashes in which 18 persons lost their lives and over 200 were injured.
Kejriwal said armed forces should be called in to restore law and order. “I will write to the Home Minister in the regard,” said Kejriwal.
Notably the Delhi Chief Minister had earlier on Tuesday told reporters that Army was not required in the area to control the violence.
