Delivery boys to face speed restrictions soon: Compol

Mangaluru: The city police are planning to restrict the speed of delivery boys of online food supply chains informed City police commissioner, Dr Harsha on Friday, August 23.
Following a complaint during the weekly phone-in programme here, Harsha said that it has been proposed to restrict the speed limit to 40 kmph for the delivery boys of online food supply chains who usually move at high speed.
He further added, “We will call a meeting of these riders and also the technical heads of these aggregators before finalizing the proposal. We will discuss their issues and pass orders to restrict their speed limit. If anyone violated the rules, necessary action will be taken.”
