Dharwad: Man files nominations for gram panchayat elections on his wedding day

Mulagunda: Amid two-phase Karnataka panchayat polls, a man named Muttu (Parashuram) Mallari hailing from Mulagunda, Dharwad has filed his nomination papers on his wedding day.

It is said that the wedding of Muttu Mallari and Jyoti of Yattinagudda, Dharwad took place at Muttu’s house and he arrived to file his nomination papers dressed in groom’s attire

Speaking to Udayavani, Muttu said, “I am getting married today and also decided to file my nomination papers on this auspicious day. I am happy that I will be beginning my political career with the blessings of all my elders”
