Didn’t order BJP flag removal, says G Parameshwar

Tumakuru: Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwar said that he never order the removal of BJP flag in front of a grocery shop in Tovinakere in Korategere taluk, Tumakuru.
Parameshwar while taking part in a public function in Tumakuru on Sunday, June 23 denied demanding that the shopkeeper remove the BJP flag.
It is gathered that On Saturday, June 22 when Parameshwar on his way to take part in a public contact programme saw the BJP party flag in front of the grocery shop owned by KN Ravi. The Deputy CM was reportedly embarrassed to see the BJP flag where his contact was supposed to commence and reportedly issued instructions to the local authorities to have it removed.
Ravi was in for a shock when he received a notice for hoisting the BJP flag in front of his shop. The notice reportedly said the flag should be removed as it was hoisted without permission from the gram panchayat.
However, Parameshwar firmly said that he didn’t order the removal of BJP flag.
