Mysuru: While BJP leaders are busy preparing for BJP President Amit Shah’s visit to Varuna, Congress leader B.K. Chandrashekhar seems skeptical of the move, pointing out that there have always been irrec oncilable differences between National President Amit Shah and State President BS Yeddyurappa. He said that the BJP, under Shah’s tutelage, disowned Janardhan Reddy, but in contrast, Yeddyurappa declared that his support was necessary.
He viewed the party’s decision to deny Yeddyurappa’s son Vijayendra to contest from Varuna as a mistake, which will enable the father-son duo toteach the party a lesson.
He also lashed out at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath about the increase in incidents of rape in UP. He said that since Mr.Adityanath had lost his credibility in his own state, he need not teach lessons to Karnataka.
