DK Suresh appears before ED in Shivakumar case

Bengaluru: Congress MP D K Suresh appeared before Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday in connection with the investigations into the money laundering case against his brother and senior party leader DK Shivakumar.
Shivakumar who was arrested on September 3, under Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) is presently lodged in judicial custody in Tihar Jail. His judicial custody has been extended till October 15.
The ED had earlier told a court hearing Shivakumar’s bail application that Suresh owned 27 properties and it needed to be probed.
“I have not committed any crime and will answer all questions asked by the officials,” said Suresh speaking to reporters here.
