Dogs force cheetah to run for safety

Mysuru: Have you ever heard about a cheetah being terrified to death of a dog? The huge cat was compelled to retreat to a tree top after a pack of dogs decided to go up against it at Kallikopalu town in Hunasur Taluk area of Manararivu.
Purportedly the Cheetah had wandered into a village looking for a prey. This time i was the cheetah, who chose it best to escape rather than being killed by the pack of dogs. A frightened cheetah is said to moved on a tree.
The villagers later informed the forest department authorities who later arrived at the spot and caught the cheetah after calming it.
