Don’t cut salaries of State govt employees: DK Shivakumar

Bengaluru: KPCC president, D K Shivakumar, urged the State government not to cut the salaries of its employees.
Addressing presspersons he explained that it was the State government that had sent them on leave due to the COVID-19 pandemic and hence it not right to cut their pay.
Shivakumar added that the government can stop certain schemes and projects to pay the employees.
He also wished everyone on World Health Day and announced that KPCC has organised a physicians’ cell where more than hundred physicians are available for the general public.
