Mangaluru: Three drug peddlers were arrested in a joint operation conducted by CCB Police and the Narcotics and Economic offences police station personnel. The accused were attempting to sell cocaine in the city.
The arrested are identified as Fasim Naushib (25) of Falnir, Afzal Hussain (28) of Manjeshwar Kunjattur and Zahid (26) of Falnir.
The arrest
The accused were nabbed near the railway staff quarters at Kankanady junction and cocaine weighing 30 grams and estimated to be worth Rs 2.40 lakh and a car belonging to the accused was seized from them.
