DYFI staged dharna requesting suitable measures to regulate private hospitals

Mangaluru: The Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) here staged a dharna in front of the DC office today demanding suitable measures to regulate private hospitals.
The dharna also was in support of setting up a government medical college in the district.
Sunil Kumar Bajal, leader DYFI said that the private hospitals are very expensive and a common man finds it very difficult to afford the high charges.
With relation to KPME Act, Bajal said that the government has amended to changes in the act after the receiving pressure from the doctors.
A memorandum with a list of demands was submitted to DC of Mangaluru.
