Bengaluru: Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa stated that the 5th tranche of the central government’s Atmanirbhar Bharat package emphasizes job creation, health and education sector reforms, industrial law reforms and the improvement of State’s economic conditions.
In a press release, the Chief Minister assured the Centre that the State government would work hard to fulfil the goals of the central government’s “Atmanirbhar Bharat.”
He further stated that starting of television channels for teaching is a good decision for all children who have missed school. The Prime Minister’s e-Vidya scheme will reduce the pressure on the formal education system we have adopted so far. The e-education project will bring about a significant change in the education sector of the country.
MSMEs, which are in financial distress due to the COVID-19 crisis, are relieved from the decision that no financial insolvency proceedings will be initiated against any entity, he stated.
The decision to allow private partnership in all sectors of the economy will bring new life into the loss-making public sector entities. Above all, the States’ borrowing limit has been raised from 3% to 5% of the State’s GDP, making the State economies breathe in new life into their economic system, added the chief minister.
