Earthquake felt again in Vijayapura

Vijayapura: Earthquake tremors were felt in many parts of the district and neighboring districts in Maharashtra on the night of February 2 and the early hours of Friday.

The tremors were observed on Thursday night at 10.05 pm and on Friday at 1.47 am in Ghonasagi, Kakhakavatagi, Hubanur, Takkalaki, Somadevarahatti, Siddapur of Tikota taluk.

The earthquake was experienced not only in these villages but also in villages in neighboring Maharashtra.

People have run out of their houses fearing for their lives as the earth shook.
