Bengaluru: The eco friendly idols are trending this Ganesha festival. 100 percent eco-friendly materials, like bamboo, areca nut cups, leaves and grass were used for the idols.

“Environmentalists have been struggling hard to impose the ban on Plaster of Paris idols. Eco-friendly Ganeshas will encourage youngsters  to say good bye to PoP Ganeshas,” she said.  Along with this eco-friendly Ganesha, 64 different varieties of Ganesha idols are also on display at her residence in Thyagarajnagar.
