Edu Dept to launch toll-free helpline, app soon: S Suresh Kumar

Udupi: Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar said that a toll-free helpline number will be active from March 31, 2020, to redress grievances related to the Education Department.
An app too will be launched by next academic year which will have features such as allowing people to volunteer as teachers in a government school and donate for the development of a school.
He was speaking at the inauguration of new infrastructure in the Government Higher Primary School, Manoor-Padukere on Monday.
He also said that two days in a month will be observed as ‘No Bag Day’ and students would not require to carry their school bags on these days.
