Eid celebrations: Traffic movement temporarily diverted

Mangaluru: As the Muslims will be celebrating Eid on June 15th or 16th, mass prayers in the morning from 6:30 am to 10 am will be held at the Idgah mosque on the Lighthouse hill road. Therefore, the police commissioner has ordered Mangaluru city police to divert the traffic along the Lighthouse hill road and provide a suitable alternative route for the traffic.
From morning 6:30 am and up till the people vacate after the prayers, the vehicles plying from Hampanakatte towards Dr Ambedkar circle via Lighthouse hill road will have to travel via LHH of K.S.R. road through Falnir road. Vehicle movement along the road leading to Lighthouse hill road from City Centre Mall parking will be banned for the period of time.
The vehicles can be parked temporarily, but strictly on the L.H.S. of the road between the Central library and Vijaya Bank. This temporary notification will be in effect on June 15th or 16th from 6:30 am to 10 am, informed the release.
