Mangaluru: As the crescent moon was not sighted on Monday in the District Dakshina Kannada Qazi Twaka Ahmed Musliyar informed that the Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Wednesday in the district.
Meanwhile, similar reports have come in from neighbouring Districts including Udupi and Uttara Kannada.
Crescent moon was also not sighted in Kerala, informed sources.
