Eight more arrested in KPSC exam malpractice

Kalaburagi: The city police on Friday arrested eight more people involved malpractices in the examinations conducted by the Karnataka Public Service Commission. 

The accused have been recognized as Meimood Nadaf, Nagaraj Tengli, Dr Kamran Kaisar, Hazarath Ali Nadaf, Imam Saab Nadaf, Abdul Najeeb, Salim Ali and Nazeer. They were remanded in judicial custody.
With this, the total number of people arrested for the case has gone up to 13.

Speaking to the reporters at a press meet, Superintendent of Police N Shashi Kumar said that the captured were engaged with malpractices in 13 examinations conducted for different posts. 

He said more than 100 job aspirants had taken the assistance of the group to pass the examination and some of them had even been selected to different posts. The SP said the gang gave answers to the aspirants through micro earphones.
